The IMT drilling rigs, known as the "AF" series, drill boreholes from 16 to 118 inches in diameter, up to 295 feet deep. There are eight different "AF" models, each with a patented automatic interlocking Kelly bar. A Caterpillar Hydraulic Excavator provides the power base. Drilling rigs of this type are often used in foundation work, landfills, resource recovery and other types of projects.

The IMT AF interlocking Kelly bar is made from carefully selected high-strength materials to ensure stability and durability in extreme drilling situations. Its unique interlocking structure design allows each section to be tightly connected, effectively transmitting torque and withstanding huge pressure, enabling it to easily complete drilling tasks in hard rock formations or complex geological environments.
